Primary Objective: The responsibilities of the Industrial Vinyl Fabricator are to cut, seam using RF (radio frequency) and hot air equipment, sew, stitch, lace and grommet product to customer project requirements and scope. This individual will work with a wide variety of equipment and materials, working from engineered drawings and instructions.

Hiring for first shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm M-F.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Starting wage: $17-18 per hour based on skills and experience

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Cutting
  • Cut vinyl and other materials using scissors and a cutting table; must be tape measure proficient
• Bar Seaming
  • Attach handles and seam vinyl using RF press equipment
• Air Seaming
  • Seam vinyl and other materials using pull-style hot air equipment
• Sewing
  • Prepares machine by changing needles and thread, oiling and changing bobbin, and securing attachments
  • Sew materials together using industrial sewing machines
• Grommet
  • Use a grommet machine to press grommets into vinyl
• Lace
  • Attach vinyl liners to metal frames using lacing rope

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Able to operate various machines; sewing experience is preferred
• Proficient in math, able to use measuring devices, and comprehend engineered drawings and instructions
• Able to effectively multi-task various projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality expectations

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma/GED
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with industrial sewing preferred

Physical Demands:

• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 20 pounds.
• Manufacturing environment: may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, dust, or dirt

Primary Objective: The responsibilities of the Metal Fabricator are to cut, bend, using roll bending equipment, drill, grind/prep and paint tubular and flat metals.  This individual will work with a wide variety of equipment and materials, working from engineered drawings and instructions.

Hiring for first shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm M-F.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Cutting
  • Cut tubular and flat metals using horizontal band saws and chop saws
• Bending
  • Bend tubular and flat metals using roll bending equipment
• Drilling
  • Drill tubular and flat metals using drill presses and hand drills
• Grinding/Prepping
  • Remove weld spatter and marks from welded, metal frames, prior to painting
• Paint
  • Paint metals utilizing a paint booth and spray gun

• Able to operate various machines; metal fabrication experience is preferred

Job Summary: The primary objective of the Metal Welder is to weld, cut, and fabricate metal components and products by using plasma cutting and hand welding equipment.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job
• Welds and fabricates various products and equipment using cutting and welding techniques and equipment
• Monitors the welding process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage
• Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded
• Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area daily
• Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Thorough understanding of welding systems and tools used in welding including designs, uses, maintenance and repair
• Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings, models and blueprints
• Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms
• Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
• Eager to learn, take initiative, and leadership skills with an ownership mindset
